Sterling Silver stud earrings with natural Amber

Handmade in Australia, these stud earrings feature a pair of faceted natural Amber Stones.
Amber is the petrified tree sap from millions of years ago. I sourced the Amber for these earrings from Lithuania. It is a very soft stone making it ideal for necklaces and earrings. The stones are approximately 6mm in diameter. The photo at the top of my home page is a close up of a larger Amber. These stones have been set in Sterling Silver using a classic four claw setting.
Handcrafted in my small studio on the Central Coast of New South Wales. I use traditional jewellers hand skills to craft these pieces. After creating the setting, the stones are set by hand before each earring is polished.
The earrings are small and light, making them comfortable to wear every day.
As with most jewellery, care should be taken not to expose these earrings to harsh or corrosive chemicals.
